Welcome to the land of Pura Vida in Central America. It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean.
From the northeast to the southeast, the country is crossed by a volcanic chain that contributes to its ecological wealth.
Costa Rica is a country with a lush biodiversity. It is a paradise for fauna and flora lovers.
It is also one of the few countries in the world that does not have an army. The country and its people have a peaceful attitude; this makes it a perfect place to spend an unforgettable holiday.
CONGO TRIP route: (San José - Arenal - Rio Celeste - Monteverde - Sámara - San José)
D1 - ARRIVAL IN COSTA RICA
Welcome to the land of Pura Vida for the beginning of a very beautiful adventure! On arrival, our driver will take you to your hotel to relax by the pool after a long trip.
D2 - POÁS VOLCANO
After the delivery of your vehicle you will go to the discovery of the Poas volcano. If the clouds are not capricious you can observe the pretty lake in the middle of the crater. You will then take the direction of La Fortuna to spend the night.
D3 - Cacao Tour and Hotsprings in Arenal
This third day in Costa Rica will introduce you to a cocoa plantation and the chocolate making process. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the thermal waters of the Arenal Volcano region.
D4 - La Fortuna Waterfall & Finca Verde
You will enjoy the morning to discover the beautiful La Fortuna Waterfall. It is possible to swim there. After this morning walk, you will take the road to Bijagua in search of one of the emblematic animals of Costa Rica: the sloth.
D5 - RÍO CELESTE
This morning will be dedicated to the visit of the Tenorio National Park famous for its turquoise river. Legend has it that when God finished creating the world, he washed his brushes in the Rio Celeste.
You will take the road to Monteverde in the afternoon
D6 - MONTEVERDE
The Monteverde region is known for it's tropical cloudforest, which is ideal for bird watching and lush flora. A suspended bridges activity is included in your stay.
D7 - SÁMARA
The small village of Samara famous for its sweetness of life will be the last stage of your stay. The Ocean Safari excursion will give you a glimpse of the country’s marine life on the Pacific coast. Depending on the season it is possible to observe dolphins, whales, turtles. A small diving mask and snorkel is included in the activity.
D8 - DEPARTURE
It is now time to return to San José. You will drop off your vehicle at our service provider who will take you to the airport with, we hope, many beautiful memories in memory.
