This activity starts from Puerto Carrillo. You will embark on a search for dolphins – bottlenose and spotted dolphins – and if you are lucky enough, you may see whales with their babies. As getting back, you’ll stop with the team near the beach to snorkel and observe the beautiful marine life.
The town of Samara in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste region is probably best known for being a chilled-out beach destination. Walking in the hills above the sand-sprinkled streets is an amazing nature experience waiting to be had.
Our sea kayaking tour take you to discover the coast of Samara Beach until Isla Chora. It is an easy trip to the island and there you will feel like there is no one around. Isla Chora is a small island about a 25-45 minute paddle off the beach of Playa Samara depending on where you enter the water.
With this Mangrove River Kayak Tour you will observe many birds, monkeys, iguanas and experience the unique biodiversity of the mangrove along the Rio Ora while paddling through mangrove tunnels.
It is a perfect spot to learn how to surf. There are some beach breaks for beginners. For someone who never stood on a surfboard and is a bit afraid, this can be the ideal spot to get introduced to the basics of surfing. If you have an advanced level trust in our instructors to learn new tricks.
Located along The Palo Verde National Park, the Tempisque River is home to one of Central America’s most densely populated areas of migratory birds and aquatic species.
We want to give a positive feedback to our tour to the Chira insula Golf of Nicoya, Costa Rica, which Pierre Lidec organized for us last month. The whole trip was fantastic: waiting for the tide to come in the tiny harbor San Pablo, a wonderful boat passage through the mangrove area to the island, our walk there. Most impressive was meeting Dora at the Posada la Amistad on the island, talking to her and listening to her explanations of the women’s project “Las damas de Chira”. We have appreciated this personal insight in the important reforestation with mangroves, the social and economic problems on the island Chira, the chorotega culture and living conditions on the Island very much.
We thank Natural Center Tours in Samara you very much for the perfect management of the tour.
I am travelling alone and wanted to do a nice activity in Samara. Pierre really understood me and he suggested me to do the dolfin boat tour. It was amazing! We could watch dolfins, turtles and even a whale and her baby! The staff on the boat was great, we had fruits, biscuits and drinks onboard. Explications were perfect and everyone was really nice! After the observation of the wildlife, we went snorkeling near the beach. Once again, the guide explained what we saw underwater and showed us lots of fishes! The boat was really secure, and they even came to my hotel and bring me back after the activity! Thanks again to Pierre who was really professional and nice! I will definitly come back to try more activities !
Pierre made our excursions super easy. We visited Samara in November (A little late on my review). We booked our first excursion as a combo tour (fishing, snorkeling, and dolphin/animal watching).
e saw SO many dolphins, manta rays, and turtles! It was incredible.
If I could give them 100 stars I would. We were so incredibly amazed at how wonderful everything turned out. No - the guides don't speak much English, but remember you are in another country, that speaks Spanish, it is part of the experience - and they know enough (and we know enough) to be able to communicate with them.
Loved, loved, loved! Well done.
